From vacancy to posting
Three steps to your job posting.
Create an employer account
Verify your email, sign in and introduce your company with its name and location.
Describe the role once
Write the title and responsibilities in your input language. Add the workplace, weekly hours and pay. Jobvelio handles translation for the German and English views.
Review and publish for free
Check the preview and confirm. The posting is published when both language versions are ready. Continue managing it in your employer area.

What a good posting needs
Required details and practical recommendations
A real company and an open vacancy
Post vacancies that genuinely need filling and that you are authorised to publish. Use the real company name. Recruitment agencies should explain their role.
Verified employer account and company profile
You need a verified email address. The company profile requires a name, city and country.
A clear title and complete description
Enter the title and description only once. The description needs at least 40 characters; a useful posting explains responsibilities and essential skills in more detail. Jobvelio handles translation.
Workplace, employment type and weekly hours
Enter the city, country, employment type and weekly hours. Also explain in your description whether work is on site, hybrid or fully remote.
Explain pay clearly
State the amount, currency and pay period. The form requires positive minimum pay for vacancies in Austria. For every role, we recommend clear, specific pay and benefit details.
Confirm your information
Review your original information and explicitly confirm it before publication. Jobvelio prepares the German and English versions in the background. While they are being prepared, the posting remains unpublished.
Keep postings current and close filled roles
A posting runs for 30 days. Close it earlier once filled. If you are still hiring after it expires, publish it again for free.
What to leave out
Keep applications fair and useful
Fake vacancies and data harvesting
Every posting must represent a real vacancy. Do not use applications as a pretext to collect contacts for advertising or other purposes.
Fees for candidates
Applying on Jobvelio is free. Do not require an application fee or a purchase before someone can apply.
Duplicate postings and invented locations
Use a separate posting for each distinct role. Do not duplicate a vacancy to crowd search results or list places where the work is not available.
Unsupported promises
Do not invent pay, benefits or career prospects. Reuse someone else’s ad only with permission, and keep other people’s private data out of the text.
Discriminatory or demeaning wording
Describe job requirements factually and in welcoming language. Personal characteristics unrelated to the work do not belong in selection criteria.
Keyword stuffing and unnecessary data requests
Use readable sentences rather than repeated keywords. Do not request identity documents, bank details or a mandatory photo with an application.
Know before you start
Have a question?
Is Jobvelio really free for employers?
Yes. Your employer account, company profile, postings and the features listed above cost €0. There is no posting limit, placement commission or requirement to provide a credit card. Candidates also use the platform and apply for free.
How long does a posting stay online?
Each publication lasts 30 days. Close filled vacancies earlier at any time. If the role is still open after expiry, publish it again for free. There is no automatic paid renewal.
Where does my vacancy appear?
In Jobvelio’s public search and on its own vacancy page. You can share that link yourself. Automated posting to Indeed, LinkedIn or other boards is not connected. A particular number of views or applications cannot be promised.
How do I receive applications?
Candidates create a private profile and review each application before sending it. You receive an email and view the application under the relevant vacancy in your protected employer area. Documents are not displayed publicly in the posting.
Can I see updated CVs later?
A sent application retains its original snapshot. Separately, candidates can share their current profile with your company for 180 days. The current PDF requires additional consent. Access can be revoked, but revocation does not recall copies already downloaded.
Do I need to translate my posting?
No. Write the title and description once in your input language. Jobvelio automatically prepares German and English and preserves your original information. Publication waits until the required versions are ready. Readers choose their language, with German as the default.
Do I need to crop my logo first?
No. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP file up to 2 MiB and no more than 4 megapixels. Jobvelio places small, tall or wide logos proportionally in the centre of a white square. Your image is neither cropped nor distorted.
