Junior Chef / Commis de Cuisine (m/f/d)
Starting in mid-December | Full-time or part-time | Schattwald or Grän
For our mountain restaurant, the Sonnenalm in Grän, and Stube 15.60 in Schattwald, we’re looking for motivated junior chefs starting in mid-December or as agreed to actively support our kitchen team and ensure everything runs smoothly. Our restaurants are located in the heart of our ski areas and offer first-class cuisine as well as a unique atmosphere that delights skiers, hikers, and food lovers alike.
Requirements
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare classic mountain hut dishes just the way they should be: authentic and truly delicious
Work with regional products and prepare fresh, varied dishes
Assist with the preparation and organization of daily kitchen operations
Ensure compliance with and monitor all quality and hygiene guidelines (HACCP)
Performing daily cleaning tasks in the kitchen
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Some experience in the kitchen; training is a plus but not required
A genuine passion for cooking and good food
A reliable and meticulous work ethic
You keep a cool head even in stressful situations
An authentic and well-groomed appearance
Good German language skills are a plus, but not required

EU citizens are given priority (no permit required)

According to the collective bargaining agreement, the minimum salary for the position of junior chef is €2,232 gross per month on a full-time basis. Your exact salary will be based on your previous work experience and will be determined in a joint discussion. Of course, a higher salary is possible depending on your qualifications and prior work experience.
