Chef de Rang (m/f/d)
Job Description
As a Chef de Rang, you are a passionate host and play a key role in shaping the quality and atmosphere of our restaurant. You will manage your own service station independently and ensure a first-class guest experience through professional expertise, style, and warmth.
Responsibilities
Independent management of a service station
Providing professional service and advice to our guests
Taking orders and professionally serving food and beverages
Providing wine and beverage service, including active recommendations
Ensuring a smooth service flow
Preparation and mise en place
Compliance with quality and hygiene standards
Close collaboration with the kitchen, bar, and restaurant management
Guidance and support for commis de rang or trainees
Professional Requirements
Completed training in the restaurant or hotel industry
Several years of professional experience in upscale service is a plus
In-depth knowledge of food and beverages, particularly in the area of wine
Confident demeanor and a well-groomed appearance
Very good command of German; knowledge of English is a plus
Experience with point-of-sale systems
Personal Skills
Strong focus on service and quality
A hospitable attitude with a passion for the restaurant industry
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Organizational skills and a structured approach to work
Ability to handle pressure, even during busy service periods
