Requirements
We are a family-friendly hotel with 200 beds (including children’s beds) that does not offer à la carte dining. We provide our guests with full board PLUS, which includes a breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, afternoon snack with non-alcoholic beverages until 8:30 p.m., and a dinner menu. Our long-time head chef is always open to new dishes and ideas and is looking forward to having an energetic right-hand person. Your responsibilities will include: • Assisting our head chef or filling in for him when he is absent • Preparing and presenting dishes • Sharing responsibility for the culinary planning, organization, and execution of our menu • Receiving and inspecting food deliveries • Sharing responsibility for ensuring quality standards are met • Optimizing workflows in the kitchen • Adhering to hygiene and quality guidelines • Excellent communication within the team and with other departments
Experience
3 years of work experience
< 1 year of leadership experience
Language skills
German C1 (advanced knowledge)

Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)

What we offer
We are a family-friendly hotel with 60 guest rooms (200 beds, including children’s beds) in Flachau, in the Salzburg region, and we do not offer à la carte dining. We offer our guests full board PLUS, which includes a breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, afternoon snack with non-alcoholic beverages available until 8:30 p.m., and a dinner menu, as well as free access to the wellness area and childcare on 5 or 6 days a week. We go out of our way to pamper our guests—especially our young guests—to the highest standard, both in summer and winter. The summer season typically runs from Pentecost to early November, and in winter we open in early December and close at Easter. Together with our young, dedicated, and motivated team, we look forward to achieving excellence. Honesty, a sense of responsibility, and a willingness to help are very important to us—not only toward our family and the team, but also toward our guests.
