About the role
DescriptionFor our family-run 4-star Superior Hotel Erlebach, we are looking for a reliable service manager for our guest services and hotel bar for the winter season starting December 9, 2026 .
You can expect an interesting and responsible position managing a 6-person service team, actively participating in operations—including handling a station (taking orders with Orderman)—as well as working behind the bar 2–3 times a week.

Requirements
Your Profile:
Ensuring an excellent, high-end level of service in accordance with 4-star superior standards
Active participation, including managing one station using Orderman (for in-house guests only)
Alternating bar shifts with your colleague (until 11:30 p.m. at the latest)
A well-groomed appearance and a confident demeanor
Enjoy working as part of a team and interacting with guests
Several years of experience in upscale hotel or restaurant service is preferred
Excellent manners, a hospitable attitude, and the ability to handle stress
Ability to work independently and a strong sense of responsibility
Friendly and communicative
Excellent command of German and good verbal communication skills
You care deeply about the guest’s well-being
Experience
3 years of work experience
1 year of leadership experience
Continuing education and training
Cocktail mixing course
Wine sommelier training
Language skills
English A2 (basics)
German C1 (advanced knowledge)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)
What we offer
6-day workweek / 48 hours; a 5-day workweek is also possible by arrangement
Compensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, with a willingness to pay above the standard rate depending on education and professional experience
4-week probationary period
Free room and board (single room with shower/toilet, TV in the building)
13th and 14th monthly salaries paid on a pro-rata basis
Seasonal position; a year-round position may be possible after several seasons

Employment & Salary
Fixed-term contract
3180 € gross / month
Salary negotiable; minimum wage according to the Vorarlberg collective bargaining agreement – willingness to pay above the minimum depending on education and professional experience; 13th and 14th monthly salaries paid pro-rata at the end of the season (double pay); seasonal position with a 5- or 6-day workweek
