About the role

Description
We are a sixth-generation family-run business—managed with heart, down-to-earth values, and attention to detail. Our **** hotel in St. Michael im Lungau offers about 120 beds; depending on the season, up to 22 colleagues work to ensure that our guests feel right at home. To strengthen our 6-person service team, we’re looking for you to join us as a bartender.
Your responsibilities:
Independently managing the bar, including the hotel lobby and terrace, in the afternoons and evenings (no split shifts)
Serving guests during the afternoon snack
Assisting in the restaurant during peak hours, when bar duties allow
Providing personalized and attentive service to our guests
Serving food, cocktails, and other beverages professionally
Recommending suitable cocktails, wines, and beverages
Working closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure everything runs smoothly
Helping out in other service areas when needed—we’re a small team where everyone pitches in

Requirements
Completed training or relevant professional experience in restaurant service
Enjoy working with guests and have a confident demeanor
Team spirit
Good command of German and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beverages is desirable but not required
Experience
2 years of work experience
Language skills
English B1 (Intermediate)
German C1 (advanced knowledge)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)

Fixed-term contract
2300 € net / month
This position comes with a minimum monthly base salary as set by the collective bargaining agreement; we are happy to offer additional compensation for relevant additional qualifications
