Nestled in the heart of the impressive Nockberge Mountains, right on the shores of Lake Falkert, lies the Heidi-Hotel Falkertsee —a place where family warmth, alpine zest for life, and genuine hospitality come together. To strengthen our management team, we are looking for a dedicated service manager who will further develop our service department with a broad perspective, passion, and team spirit.
💛 Your Mission
As Service Manager, you are the heart of our service department. You lead, motivate, and develop your team and, together with the kitchen and front desk, ensure smooth operations and delighted guests.
Requirements
🧾 Your Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the service area (restaurant, bar, events)
Management, scheduling, and professional development of the service team
Ensuring professional, warm, and efficient service
Acting as a host and providing personalized guest service
Liaising between service, kitchen, and hotel management
Training new employees and apprentices
Quality control and continuous improvement of our service standards
Assisting with cost of goods sold, orders, and inventory counts
🌟 What you bring to the table
Several years of experience in restaurant service, ideally in a leadership role
Completed training in the restaurant/hospitality industry is a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills
Organizational skills, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to make decisions
Strong service orientation and commitment to quality
Very good command of German; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Passion for hospitality, nature, and teamwork
Experience
10 years of work experience
5 years of leadership experience
Language skills
German C1 (advanced knowledge)
German C2 (excellent knowledge)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)

Employment & Salary
Fixed-term contract
2500 € net / month
Depending on your experience and willingness to work, we are certainly open to offering a higher salary!
