About the role

Description
For our Lazy Flamingo Diner in the heart of Obertauern, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Line Cook (m/f/d) for the 2026/27 winter season.
As the right-hand person to our Kitchen Team Leader, you’ll play an active role in the ongoing development of our kitchen. Together, you’ll ensure the highest quality, smooth kitchen operations, and consistent adherence to our standards.
You’ll take responsibility for your station, assist with daily mise en place and during service, and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams. Quality, cleanliness, and teamwork are always our top priorities.
We serve modern Austro-American cuisine—from juicy burgers and steaks to salads, desserts, and seasonal specialties. With our Coco Cooking System, we prioritize structured workflows, consistent quality, and efficient operations.

Requirements
You have completed training as a chef or have comparable professional experience in the restaurant industry.
You have several years of experience in à la carte service and are confident working in all kitchen stations.
You will take responsibility for your station and support the Kitchen Team Leader in day-to-day kitchen operations.
You work in an organized and independent manner and maintain a clear overview even in stressful situations.
Quality, cleanliness, and hygiene in accordance with HACCP standards are a given for you.
You enjoy preparing high-quality dishes with consistent quality.
You are known for your team spirit, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
You are open to modern kitchen workflows and standardized processes such as our Coco Cooking System.
Good German or English skills facilitate collaboration within an international team.
A neat and professional appearance, punctuality, and treating colleagues and guests with respect are second nature to you.
Experience
3 years of work experience
Language skills
English B2 (good intermediate level)
German C1 (advanced knowledge)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)

Employment & Salary
Fixed-term contract
2200 € net / month
6 days / 48-hour workweek—negotiable; associated collective bargaining agreement with willingness to pay above the standard rate
