Description
You are the first voice on the phone, the first smile at check-in, and the common thread that makes our guests’ stay an unforgettable experience. As a receptionist (m/f/d), you are the heart of our hotel and ensure that our guests feel welcome, cared for, and well looked after from the very first moment. At the Hotel Barbarahof in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, you can expect a varied and responsible role in a family-like environment with plenty of room for initiative and professional growth. Working as part of a team, you’ll ensure that everything runs smoothly at the front desk, that guests enjoy an unforgettable vacation, and that they leave delighted!
✨ Your responsibilities with us:
Checking guests in and out, as well as providing professional guest service
Serving as the point of contact for requests, questions, and individual concerns
Receiving and processing inquiries and reservations
Handling phone and email correspondence in German and English
Working closely with all departments to ensure a perfect stay

Requirements

In addition to a positive demeanor and a well-groomed appearance, your strengths include a sense of responsibility, organizational skills, and team spirit. Even in stressful situations, you keep your cool and use your friendliness to create a pleasant atmosphere at the front desk.
✅ What you should bring to the table:
Experience working at a hotel front desk or in a similar position
Good German and English skills (additional languages are a plus)
Proficiency with hotel software and MS Office
Enjoy working with guests and have a strong service orientation
Ability to work under pressure, work well in a team, and work independently
A positive outlook on life
Experience
3 years of work experience
Language skills
English B2 (good intermediate level)
German C2 (excellent knowledge)
Work permit
EU citizens are given priority (no permit required)

Fixed-term contract
2150 € net / month
Meals & lodging provided; continuing education supported! Hours: Anything is possible—from part-time to a 5-day workweek—by arrangement!
